TB Awareness Walk and Seminar Held at CMH Quetta on World TB Day

To mark World Tuberculosis (TB) Day, a TB Awareness Walk and Seminar was organized by Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Quetta. The event aimed to raise awareness about tuberculosis, promote preventive measures, and reinforce the commitment to eradicating the disease.

Medical staff, officers, and support personnel participated in the walk, demonstrating solidarity in the fight against TB. Following the walk, a seminar was held where key healthcare professionals shared insights into TB prevention, diagnosis, and treatment strategies.

The Commandant of CMH Quetta and Provincial Manager PTP Balochistan addressed the gathering, emphasizing the hospital’s ongoing efforts to combat TB and outlining future goals, including enhanced screening, improved treatment protocols, and community outreach programs. He reaffirmed the hospital’s dedication to supporting national TB control initiatives and working towards a TB-free Pakistan.
